About Shannon
Shannon Noe, LPC
I hold a Master’s Degree in Counseling and have been a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) since 2011. I’ve worked to help children, teens, and families heal from adverse life experiences since beginning my career as a counselor in 2008, and have been a clinical supervisor for over 10 years.
I have a special interest in working with parents, caregivers, and athletes become the best versions of themselves. As a parent and an athlete myself, I approach my work with a depth of both personal and professional experience. When it comes to the ups and downs of these roles in life, I truly get it and I absolutely love having the opportunity to navigate these parts of self with others.
I live in Charlottesville with my husband, three sons whom we lovingly refer to as our “birds”, and our two precious dogs, Sunday & Clover. When I’m not listening or talking, I love to run and I’m continuously working on renovations to our family’s “nest”.
I’ve never met a wildflower that I didn’t think was beautiful, and I believe that every one of us is good inside.
I’m not just winging it:
